Birthday Marquee

Wish your Husky a Happy Birthday (or Happy Half-Birthday!) with their name in lights on the HCE marquee board! Visit the store to schedule your celebration! 

  • You must purchase your greeting no later than the 25th on the month PRIOR to the celebration date. (For example, if your child's birthday is November 10th... you must purchase the marquee message no later than October 25th.) We are not able to accept late marquee message requests. 
    • PRO TIP: Don't wait until the month before to schedule this for your child - you can schedule this months in advance and  you don't have to worry about it later! 
  • If the birthday is on a Saturday, the sign will be up on the Friday before. If it’s on Sunday the sign will be up on Monday after the birthday. If for any reason we can't post on the specified date - we will contact you directly.
  • For Summer birthdays, we use 1/2 birthday dates.  Please specify the date you wish to have the message displayed and not the actual birthday in your order. 
  • No customized messages. All messages will read "Happy Birthday" with the child's name or nickname.

Birthday Book Club

With a donation of $25... our librarians will choose a new book to donate to the library in your child's name!

  • A special book plate will be placed inside the donated book recognizing your child
  • Your child will have their photo taken with the book to be displayed in the library (the photo will be sent home at the end of the year for you to enjoy!)
  • Your child will be the first one to check out the book from the library- presented to your child at the Friday pep assembly!  
  • Sign ups are accepted through March 14th. Don't wait until your child's birthday month to sign up... sign up early and we'll hold the book for their birthday (or half-birthday for summer birthdays) month!
