We hope all of our Husky families have had an incredible summer and are as excited as we are to get back to school! The PTO has already been hard at work prepping for our new year... and we are excited to share some fun announcements:
- The most important news of all: We're thrilled to be able to continue to support dozens of student programs and support systems that otherwise WOULD NOT exist... as they are NOT funded by the state or district. Learn more about WHAT WE DO on our "About us" page - and consider supporting the PTO as a member to ensure we can continue to offer these programs!
- As a reminder - your PTO membership is per school year... we start fresh every August. If you've been a member in the past... we look forward to welcoming you back this year!
- Speaking of membership - we have new MEMBERSHIP levels! Find the option that works best for your family! Join today and our Membership team will be in touch to get you details on how to receive your incentives!
- PRO TIP:our "Double the Fun" membership level includes the option for a GRADE LEVEL T-SHIRT as an incentive. Join before Back-to-School night, and you can pick up your shirt from the membership booth!
- We'll be having a raffle for members for a $75 Scholastic Books gift card EVERY Friday through 8/13 (that's 4 raffles!). The sooner you join - the more chances to win! (Our first book fair is in September!)
- To give YOU the best support possible, we've redesigned our WEBSITE to include lots of great resources for families - including HUSKY HAPPENINGS - a monthly calendar that we'll keep up to date so you have all the dates you need to know at a glance!
- We have a NEW Facebook Page and Instagram home... we hope you'll follow us there to stay in the loop on school news!
- Did you know the PTO coordinates all of the Wednesday After-School Programs (Grades 1-5)? Registration opens August 15 (Thursday) for our first session!
- Looking for Husky Gear and Grade Level shirts (see our "Pro Tip above)? We'll have the Husky Gear store set up at Back To School night!
- We heard you: this year we'll be sending less emails - but including the news-you-can-use in our "Tails from the Bark Side" newsletters. Don't worry, we'll still remind you of important events/opportunities as they come up!
