Team Kids is a national school-based, student-led youth leadership program bringing together students with on-duty police officers, firefighters, mentors, and Team Kids local university intern volunteers.
4th and 5th grade students who wish to participate on the leadership team VOTE on local causes they want to amplify. Weekly school-wide challenges take place leading up to a CARNIVAL (Feb 21) with all proceeds benefiting a local charity of the leadership team’s choice!
What's the Carnival?
The Leadership Team meets weekly during the Team Kids Challenge to plan a carnival that takes place during school hours (ours is on Feb 21) - with games and activities students can play with purchased tickets. The proceeds from the carnival benefit a charity chosen by the leadership team! Stay tuned for details on how YOUR Husky can participate!
